Abstract

This paper examines how digital platforms and educational technology (EdTech) can be leveraged to preserve and promote the Filipino language in an increasingly English-dominated global and online environment. It highlights the role of culturally relevant digital content, gamified learning, AI-driven tools, and teacher capacity-building in fostering linguistic competence and pride among Filipinos. The study underscores that successful language preservation requires collaboration across government, educators, cultural institutions, and communities to address infrastructure gaps and ensure authenticity in evolving language use.
